The MTBer Posted June 22, 2014 Share Is track 139 (the downhill track) going to be part of this park? That area is going to be great for riding! Nope Track 139 is on private property, that is also why there are not races at the track every time you are riding there you are actually trespassing. There are a lot of sluipslapers there so I would not go there alone, the DH track is on the other side of the N1 and I don't think there are a way to the other side. daanjg

bez_01 Posted June 26, 2014 Share Hi Guys, see the topic on Wolwespruit bike park Wolwespruit Bike Park is opening in Pretoria East on the weekend of 5th and 6th July 2014. The park is next to the N1, between Rigel ave / Lois ave, the entrance is next to Kloof hospital (Jochemus street) and safe parking will be provided. The area has been fenced off and secured by security guards. The park will have close to 15km of well marked mountain bike specific trails, catering for riders with intermediate to advanced skill and fitness levels. There will also be trail running routes and more routes will be added regularly over the next few months. The area has some proper elevation, and will offer some good training in a safe environment, as well as a few technical challenges and obstacles! See the website for details: www.wolwespruit.co.za Facebook and Twitter links will be up soon, follow us to keep updated! Matt11 Posted June 26, 2014 Share Hey guys, The park will have separate trail running routes to keep everything apart. There is still tons of trails to be opened and work is ongoing! Come and have ride/ Run and see what it's all about.. Check out the FB page as well for latest updates and sneak preview pics! The opening is the 5th and 6th so those who are hitting Hakahana pull in on Sunday for a quick lap or 5..
