Yes true but just not very intelligent to ride without a helmet. I wonder what Schumakers current condition would be without a helmet? I have many friends who would not be still with us had they not been wearing a helmet at the moment of impact!

I will never ride without a helmet even in my street. There are many commuter cyclist in SA that are not warring helmets. That's why I support this ruling. Motorist must take responsibility and share public roads.

Agreed, helmet doesn't protect you much from a speeding car, more for your head hitting the deck or a tree.
