I Have a 650B Titan and damaged my RST Blaze fork when I came off a little while ago. My lockout does not work so Im always riding on the same setting.

Is there a way to open it up and fix it or where would I find a replacement coil spring fork for my bike. Ive tried many bike shops and no one can help me with this issue.

I could get an air fork but it doesnt make sense getting one thats almost the same price as the bike itself.

Please can someone help me out here.

Get an air fork. The ride it gives compared to a coil makes sense. Period.

Interesting comment.

Far prefer the coil in my 160mm Lyrik.

Ditto, I've got a coil Sector, very plush.

Can compare you compare either of those two forks to the Blaze? Nope. Most coil forks at the lower end of the market seem to bottom out badly, and will be ruined within weeks of use.

Yeah, but that's because it's entry level, not because it's coil.

Half nitpicking and half defending my trusty Fox VAN against unwarranted slander.

OP, if you've decided you like this whole MTB thing, get a decent fork and take it over to your next bike, or sell it on when you upgrade. Yes, there will be next bikes and upgrades.
