A little far for us to go for a free movie though... ;)

 

lol...my boet watched the shining for its 30th anniversary under the brooklyn bridge..reckons it was pretty cool

Finally got round to watching the Martian...I enjoyed it ...but it was very happy feely go lucky for Ridley Scott...I would have expected a little better from him...but all in all i would give it a 7.5

Point Break...3/10...pre-teen entertainment at best.

 

That was one of two choices for Sunday morning movies yesterday - the other being the Ron Howard whale flick....luckily the boys wanted to go for a drive rather...  

 

The first Point Break was a bit silly, although Anthony Keidis small role was kinda funny.

Yeah, number 2 is the same...the acting is primary school stuff, one or two nice visuals, we should have gone to watch the whale movie too.

Had a watch of the trailer. Looked quite impressive, but two hours long might have been a bit long for a film about a whale that gets the hump with a boat...

There's a new version on circuit, with a hot Aussie girl, but alas, thats about all to get excited about

 

could not have been worse than that heap of crud that was the mnet movie on Sunday...really time to get rid of that decoder now
