Me and Psycho watched the race after our training ride and I could not help seeing Jackie van Eeden telling her to sit on his wheel in the sprint (just after Suikerbossie)... which she did, and she won. Clever, legal tactic. Good race savvy - when racing with the men, on a flat race (towards the end).... dont sprint the ladies, sprint with the strongest men!

You make avery good point who ould make a better coach, the likes of Jackie, Gary ,Mark , Andrew and many others that do not come to mind or some fat school teacher that could not ride a hundred meters or a over enthusiactic father who may not have a clue about racing.

 

The ladies riding with the men will still get South Africa a gold medal at worlds or the olympics.

Well done to Taylorchick and her coach deerves some credit as well.Jaco you proved your credentials here.Cherise with the support base you have you WILL be a force to be reckoned with home and abroad. To your parents, Crux, Jaco, Doug, MTN take a bow you have a gem that has proven her worth within a few months that she has what is needed to produce results SA should be proud of. I am sure MTN and Doug must be brimming from ear to ear been repayed in such a short time for giving you a contract.You rock girl( Cherry don't forget to give guidance to Cherise as well)
