I just want to say thanks to the 2 Roadies that came past me on Saturday morning on Main Botha Avenue.

Thanks for NOT stopping and thanks for NOT asking if I was ok!!!!!!

I know that a training ride is more important that someone lying on the ground with a dislocated shoulder but you could at least have asked if I was ok.Angry

Wow this is not a nice posting to read, I thought all cyclist were one big happy family. To the cyclist that rode passed you without even asking if all is ok..... You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Dragson, wishing you a full & speedy recovery

I find it rather strange I must say.

On each occasion(and there have been many) while puncturing a tyre every single cyclist that rode past me asked if I'm okay or need something.

Even with us cyclist, there is a normal distribution (bell curve) and therefore it is not that surprising. Hope it helps, maybe next time.

Just to prove the other side of the coin, my wife had a pucture with here car on Hekpoort Hill about 2 months ago, and she said that every single cyclist stoped and asked if they can help. I figure, the only reason why they stopped is that she is a women????

dragson, what happened? have you been properly checked out by a good doc? shoulder injuries ar ehte worst. i can NOT understand how people can live with themselves if they ignore a fellow person in need. karma is a true bee-atch so they will get what they deserve soon enough.

excuse the ignorance' date=' but where is main botha avenue? and what caused you to fall?[/quote']

It the road that go past Fountains and Groenkloof Nature

reserve.

As for the fall.... My own stupid fault didn't look where I was going. Not to

sure what I hit, but my front wheel went side ways and I ended up going over

the handlebar.

dragson, i believe 100% in karma so my belief is that if you CAN stop you should stop. race or not (unless you are paid to race but then you know that there are support cars right behind who can assist more than you can).

hope you heal up soon.
