Chain cleaner!

I use a park tools chain cleaner with paraffin..clean it, empty the paraffin out and add clean paraffin and run it again. I do it every 2 weeks or so. Takes me no longer than 10 minutes and my drivetrain lasts very long.

 

Do you still add lube after that?

 

And if you are lubing afterwards, do you first dry off the chain with a rag or let it drip dry?

Quick release tool....?

I thought it should work by pushing it together with my hands.

SRAM 10spd is almost impossible to remove by hand. You need a tool, and don't forget that you need something in your tool bag on the bike too.
