My wife is 1,68m tall what size road bike frame should she be riding? I have a brand new 54cm Spezialized S-Works TARMAC SL3.

I want to rebuild for her is it to big?

Should I be swapping this for Carbon 52cm Carbon frame or not?

Would any one like to swap frames?

48 - 51 most likely depending on leg length. - 54 is almost certainly too big.

I'm 168cm too. Mens bike = 50, Ladies bike = 51. The 54 is way too big and will do more harm than good. Been down that road............

Sell your bike and treat her to a brand new one! She deserves it!

<50cm seems to be the consensus.

I must however add that bike fit isn't just about the numbers.

While 1.68 certainly suggests a XS/S, one needs to consider her individual build, fitness and flexibility.

Swap for a Scott CR1.?

I'm 173 and currently on a 54cm Tarmac, its to big for me, horisontal top tube is almost 55cc.

We're similar heights ... I find that I'm between sizes so could probably fit both 52 and 54.
