I'm looking for a comfy seat to take my son on a road cycle say the sea point promenade.

Except the fact that I think it is risky on the road, hot and might be uncomfortable I want to take him along some rides.

Which carrier is best, at a good price.

Saw the Thule ridealong......?

Worst idea ever

But go ahead anyway

Elaborate? Kid likes car and speed. Not looking to go on trial somewhere

I’m a father as well that could not wait to take my son out riding with me, after a lot of reading and shopping around i bought the Weeride seat, BEST decision I tell you!

I took my son with on Critical Mass rides and even off road at Groenkloof, no issues. I highly recommend this.

My son was 1y old when i started taking him with me,

FYI, I’m selling this seat as my son is now 3y and too big for it, if any one might be interested...

The Weeride Kangaroo carrier is your best and safest option. Your child sits in front of you, so you can at least interact with them on the ride and can see what they're doing at all times. It has full back support as well as a 3 piece harness, it also has support for the head, in case the little one decides to take a nap on the ride. Enjoy!

I bought a Raleigh seat from Makro for R299. Both my kids loved it. Nothing fancy, but what I liked was the raised sides (it will protect the child in a fall). I even entered a few short races with them on the back.

Just make sure you get a helmet to go with it.
