hi i have not had this problem a lot but it seems to be more and more of a hassle

new tubeless ready tires have small holes in the side wall the sealant should seal it... but if it sealed it and the bike stands the sealant comes loose from the tire wall and when you are on your way to a ride flat wheel.. i have tried stans and ryder laytex sealant..

tires i had this problem with

onza cannis tlr

schwalbe tlr racing ralph

and continental x king tlr

if you ride a lot and the sealant makes a decent plug it does hold

any one else with this problem or solutions?

I'm guessing you're looking for a more elegant solution than 'Ride More'. I can't think of one being possible.

Tubeless tyres are easier to deal with than Tubeless Ready tyres. The only advise I can give you is to ride more or spin the wheels often if you can't ride.

Probably stating the obvious but do you wash your new tires with liquid detergent soap before fitting them? Some manufacturers have a residue on the inside after the manufacturing process. I have a set of R/R that have stood for up to 3 months with no movement and minimal air loss. Another tip is to swirl the sealant around the tyre before sealing.

how old was the sealant? was it given a good shaking before application? How many applications?

I ask because i've issues with 'old'/stratified stans (been standing long and it wasn't agitated properly prior to use) that didn't seal.

Also, it took over 3 x 30ml application of stans to eventually seal a tyre that was so porous the tyre was sprouting little stans pimples all over the sidewall. but once it sealed, it was solid for years. literally years. Just needed the occassional reinflation if it stood for too long.
