we rode in a lekke bunch.. thanks for making it enjoyable .Great meeting you too.In the last few minutes it looked possible to Sub .. so pushed with Mr Time Trial and the Lady in blue . Managed a 3h00.18 (so close)

Lady in blue was particularly strong at the end...me was running on empty....can't find results but gps had me at 3.01.... Also had the course 85 km long but I ain't complaining;)

Possibly the hardest 3 hours I have ever had on a bicycle to be honest... Great training though and will hold me in good stead for the 94.7 and triathlons.... But damn it was tpugh

Hi what a race

Mr bmw i had 88 at the back i had to stop after the first section I thought I was gonna crash after I got a speed wobble. Tightened the wheels, got on again. Same thing happened. Then I realized its when I touch the breaks and the wind, so got on again and held on and hope for the best, no breaks

But by then all the groups were gone. managed to find 6-8 guys working together and we managed to catch allot of the guys being dropped out from the main bunch. I know there was a guy in an Ocean basket kit, cant remember the rest. good ride.

Pretty happy with my 2:26 after my 2 weeks holiday and losing the group at the start.

Only did the 45km but still tough race in the wind. I could not fathom out why I was struggling so much even with wind, get to the end and found my rear hub had cracked bucking the wheel, you could not even push the bike forward. I recalled in the start pen hearing a noise at the start but thought this was as a result of my chain jumping from big to small blade. New wheel hub and brake blocks on my shopping list. Decent goodie bags, good catering and race was for a worthy cause.

Superb race although that wind was insane! We had our final sprint for top 10 positions into the head wind and the guys were in the small chainring, nuts!

Well done to Meals on Wheels and the organisers for putting on a great show.
