2 observations:

 

1. You now stay on the highway and go all the way round on to the M2 and off at Simmonds street

2. They have taken out that horrid little road before the dome (steep sucker with a billion potholes). Now you go straight from Witkoppen onto Hans Strijdom completely bypassing Boundary road

I just wish they could have kept as near as possible to the original route. Coz now its never going to be an accurate reflection of how the race has been over the years. Its a pity.

 

GO, surely your personal best is related to the fastest time of the day, regardless of the route? Same goes when Argus was via Ou Kaapse Weg instead of Chapmans Peak.

Oriole Rd and Boundary Rd taken out - this is a good thing as the bridge at the bottom of Oriole was very rough and caused some accidents last yr.
