did it last year as a solo. was seriously wet.

 

Wanted to do it again but broke my ankle so i am out.

 

I really enjoyed it and highly recommend the ride. The route seem to be roughly the same so i know it is fun.

It's going to be a tough ride from Langebaan into the South Easter this weekend...

some nice competitions, like the wheelie on the floating bridge, and the most interesting selfie....

Paraently they gonna mail us, check the site it has that on the front page. Pics and results..

 

 

Btw, how'd you guys find it. Much much harder than expected, but day 2 and 3 was great fun.

Some famous comments from the weekend:

 

"This is a ride, not a race. Today's times won't count." - Race organizer.

 

"The route tomorrow will be somewhere between 80km and 92km," - Route briefing.

 

You had more chance of spotting an actual rhino than a route marker." - Pro rider.

 

"I should have brought my road bike." - Semi-pro rider.

 

 

But overall it wasn't that bad. I might consider riding it again if they make a few changes.
