650B/29er bike advice please

Hi everybody, i am 1.73 meters tall, 15 years old and I am looking for a new carbon racing machine, I am looking at either the Merida big seven CF 3000 or the Rocky Mountain Vertex RSL 970. My price range is about 25-29k but 30k is stretching the budget a bit. I am open to all advice regarding any other 29er or 27.5 bikes, but please I am not looking at second- hand.

All the above mentioned bikes are good..if I can give you some advice, go and ride a few bikes and see what you like. No one can really tell you what to buy. Giant does however carry one of the best frame guarantees.
