Odinson Posted September 4, 2014 Share Hi, Hubbers. I've recently been going through the hassle of having to remove my seattube on my dual-sus after every wash and flip it upside down, as the water finds its way into the tubes. Is this a common problem? Got any tips to prevent any damage? Thanks!

Odinson Posted September 4, 2014 Share No visible damage yet. The main culprit seems to be the hole in the toptube for the dropper post, which funnels water into the frame. Maybe just cover that up.
Capricorn Posted September 4, 2014 Share my downhill bike has a slot in the headtube. every wash sees water going down the downtube where it sits in the BB. But its not a mission to just tip the bike over to let the water run out. Removing the saddle shuold hardly be worth moaning about either. I stuck in a bit of foam before washing. helps a lot. maybe tape over the seatube slot before washing next time?
