Can't see the video (work), but if you mean to cut of the top and screw it on upside down, so to make a garage pump work on it, I have done it lots. Started doing it when I was a junior and stuck at a garage with a tube but no pump. It actually works easily. That time I ground the top off on the cement, took a while, but there wasn't always a phone with you back then.

 

Oh and yes, that's why you keep your valve caps on.

ok. if this actually works then it is kickass idea.

 

i don't normally leave my valve caps on the bike, but this is a good option.

Post of the day if it works, don't see why it would not...suppose it also depends on the pump fitting.
