My little girl knows the feeling. Came off her bike this weekend at pwc.

Ag nee Pa! Hope she heals up quick!

You learn some crazy life lessons in all of these experiences that hopefully mean you don't push the envelope too far somewhere else down the line!

I used to work with a chap, who, whilst waiting for an airport pickup, thought he would show his son how to ride a home made jump. Needless to say, he binned it on the pavement. He had to go inside and change his shirt, as he was bleeding profusely from a roastie on his arm.

The pickup arrived and he went on a four day overseas business trip. He said the pain that night on the plane, was the worst that he had ever experienced. He had to change his shirt before landing, as it was stuck to his bloody, oozing arm. He lived on painkillers the entire trip and went straight to hospital for xrays from the airport, on his return. That night he went into surgery to repair a torn ligament in his shoulder....

Met eish!!!!!!!!!

Did something similar as a teenager on my BMX back in the 80s.

(What's the rest of the slogan on the tee btw?)

"Impressed".  :whistling:

It's my wife.  She loves buying me these funny T-shirts.  My other one's slogan is: "Instant Genuis, Just Add Beer".

Haha. Shirt seems apt then, given the state you're wearing it in!

Ah, staring at the train brought back so many memories... so nostalgic.

and then I rode into a roadside barrier. Went flying over the handlebars, broke my saddle clean off and cut my knee open requiring stitches. Officially the dumbest crash ever.

...and I still don't know what train it was..

Level 6 on the Ilze Involuntary Dismount Scale! That a great effort!

if you followed the advise about the toothpaste while just chilling at home then your lip should be pretty brand new by now.

Ouch....heal up soon little one. Some tissue oil will do the trick......together with a nice double thick milkshake with all the trimmings.....and some serious TLC.

Not bad.  Most of the 'rowe' is coming off piece by piece today.  The lips is still sensitive although it looks much better today, but some of the cuts I got inside my mouth has caused some mouth sores.  I still look like someone bliksemed me good, and I get a few stares.

Forgot to mention.  When I was cycling back home with the blood streaming from my face and dripping all over the bike and my jeans, some folks in a car stared at what was happening with me and almost managed to drive into a pavement themselves.

Way back when I was 16, I was riding my 8 yr old sisters bike with a rope tied to the back. It was used to tow my brother on his skate board around the garden.

After he managed to fall off I looped back around past, mums parked car.

I rememder being woken up by the old girl face amashed to bits, broken nose, broken teeth and lots of blood.

It turned out that when riding a 20" bike leaning realy far over the bars is not healthy when said rope jams under the wheel of the car. Stopping 1 bike instantly!
