I kinda did a while back. Asked one current, and two former eds of the claimed paper. No one even recgonizes the name. There was a claim too about helping compile the paper's style guide, but his name wasn't included in the credits.

Mmmmmm...I did some work for Glasgow's The Herald some years back - involved a dwarf who strangled his estranged Scottish wife and buried her in his brother's flowerbed (Kritzie will remember the minedump ride after the day he "poisoned" me... long story) - so maybe I can ask them to help.
