Beginner Mechanic / Road Bike Maintenance course

I am very keen to learn how to maintain / fix my own road bike.

 

Anyone know of any companies, bike shops or individuals that are credible and offer high quality courses of this nature?

I could be wrong but if i'm not mistaken CWC offered this service one evening not so long ago. I'm from Cape Town as well and would definitely be interested.

The guys at iRide often do some mechanic workshops.  Nice relaxed, friendly atmosphere.  Good enough to learn the basics for sure.

You can start off by checking out some tutorials on youtube. Most of the maintenance on a road bike is relatively easy and there is a lot available on the net.

I wish I could help. I do offer a basic mechanics course in JHB though.
