  1. O yes, Chain Reaction currently has the Schwalbe Pro One on promo. Happy shopping!
  2. Start up costs is doesn't come cheap. Then again what in cycling is cheap. lol I also plan to go tubeless but will only due this when road racing season starts again. Most of my winter training will be done on a Indoor train hence i'm waiting for sunny days. I got a pair of Easton EA90 SLX which is tubeless certified. Get a decent mini pump. CO2 cartridges are not recommended with sealant.
  3. Change the clamp (perhaps avoid the quick release clamps) Clean the seatpost and seat tube Carbon Paste Use the correct torque
  4. Have you tried using a little loctite? I have the same problem with my Specialized CGR seatpost (single bolt) but with the right torque and little loctite i haven't had a problem again.
  5. What he said! A little goes a long way so no need to drown it.
  6. I have the same problem with my RunX. It's a No No for a clip on. Expensive exercise if you don't have a tow bar and you want a bike rack.
  7. Yes thanks guys! Love the person message and the thoughtful gesture.
  8. Very important! What works for one person doesn't necessary mean it will work for you. There is a lot of factors to consider (eg: your blood type)
  9. If you keep doing the same thing every time you going to have the same results. I would recommend doing hill repeats and slowly work on improving on her times. Make sure to have the right gears, keep a good cadence and work on that breathing.
  10. Cycling alone is also very dangerous. Safety in numbers. Speedy recovery
  11. Zwift works best with a smart trainer. I have find the Tacx Vortex trainer and this would be considered the baseline for an entry level smart trainer. I find the Vortex good value for money and it works. I previously had a Giant indoor trainer and for me i got quickly bored of it.
  12. If i'm not mistaken there is an article and picture of the bikes in the Eikenstad news (Stellenbosch local newspaper).
  13. I haven't been yet. Planning on going tomorrow. I was hoping it was going to change from last year. I guess it never live up to standards like at the Good Hope Center.
  14. The best solution for you is to go for a bike fit. See that you from the southern subs go visit Debbie. I guarantee she will sort you out. Everything from seat width, height to your stem length length will be resolved. http://www.dynamicbikefit.co.za/wmenu.php
  15. I find the Michelin Endurance tyre a good balance Decent rolling resistance vs great puncture protection. Also if you running on a lower psi the chances of getting a puncture is higher.

    94.7 vs Argus

Windy Argus! Take your words back! Nobody wants that.
  17. Like mention above a seat is really something very personal. What works for 1 person doesn't necessary means it will work for you. I personally had tested about 5 seats before finding the right one. The most part of purchasing a seat to finding the correct size (eg: 143/155). Secondly, a good idea would is to have a bike fit.

  19. Did you perhaps use some sort of liquid to clean your lenses? I know of this issue of people that use soapy water to clean the specs.
