camelman Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I prefer the chesty to the handlebar or helmet mount. The chesty gives you a nice view of everything and if you are doing the really rough stuff the picture is much more stable.
fanievb Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Yet the guys that do DH wear helmet cams in UCI world cup events UCI DH specific rules 4.3.014 Cameras are not permitted during qualifying rounds and finals. The riders are responsible for securing the fixation of the cameras in order to avoid any danger. The UCI can decide to allow a camera during finals but only for the usage of the TV production company. Metal/permanent fixtures to attach the cameras are not allowed, tape and velcro are allowed. http://www.cyclingsa.com/App_Resources/Uploads/FILE00002028.pdf

nathrix Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I have the Barfly GoFly GoPro mount, very impressed. Bicycle Mount review http://road.cc/content/review/124668-barfly-gofly-gopro-bicycle-mount
Jigghead Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I bought the aluminium mount a while back and ended up stripping the thread. So, I wont be going back - me the dumb-ass. I lost the GoPro one that came with the camera and bought a new one a few weeks ago. This time they've included a rubber bit to ensure no more slips and the footage is good. I'm gonna stick with it for what it's worth.

Bizkit031 Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 If you gonna do marathons and classics then go handlebar mount but Enduro, all mountain go helmet or chesty, just my OP.
