105 Chain on MTB

I can get shimano 105 10 speed chains on chain reaction of around R180.00, this is good news for me as I kill a chain on my MTB at around 800KM, I know all 10 speed shimano and Sram are compatible, and I am 99% sure this will work,but it is marketed as a road bike chain, any input from fellow members.

Yes, 9 speed they had both the Road and MTB markings on the chains. 10 Speed started marketing them as a different product. 105 chain is basically the same thing as a Deore chain.

I think the 105 is an slx chain...might be wrong

SLX or LX for the older 9 speed chains should be equivalent to Ultegra from what I can remember. Doesn't really matter I guess.
