Gen Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Now hubby missed the middle part of the stage so I am watching it again.. and we have now gone past what he missed and at 16km to go. Now now I was pacing around and hiding in the kitchen at times.. jissie but Sagan closed down Riblon's one move with so much ease. . Well looks to be with ease.
Thor Buttox Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Realised Mr Porte was missing on all the bits I saw? What happened to him today?
Gen Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Actually I missed a lot of that climb while freaking out.
Gen Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Realised Mr Porte was missing on all the bits I saw? What happened to him today?Ja had a flat at one point.. that was the last I saw/noticed him Edit.. Porte went off the back on the last climb..
Gen Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Whahahaha.. something I missed was.. whe riblon tried to make a move just before the top of the climb and Sagan just upped his cadence and riblon threw his arm in the air probably a "ag it's pointless" arm throw ha ha ha
isn Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Ja had a flat at one point.. that was the last I saw/noticed himBesides the flat tire it's was bound to happen that the steam ran out of that overworked engine. Porte is probably glad for the rest day.
Patchelicious Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Been trying to think of another sportsman who is that good, with what looks like such a relaxed persona and sense of humour. Not coming up with many...Minaar and Rossi
Gen Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Minaar and RossiOf course yes... [emoji106] [emoji106] [emoji106] Can't believe I forgot about Greg.
isn Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Whahahaha.. something I missed was.. whe riblon tried to make a move just before the top of the climb and Sagan just upped his cadence and riblon threw his arm in the air probably a "ag it's pointless" arm throw ha ha haLol. Saw that motion yes. Like " damn I can't do this anymore! I'm quitting. " a real dramatic swing of the arm. Lol
Thor Buttox Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Minaar and RossiGood calls... Not a MotoGP fan but enjoyed his antics
Gen Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 That was almost better the 2e time round.. could just marvel at his skills without pacing.
Thor Buttox Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Ja had a flat at one point.. that was the last I saw/noticed himEdit.. Porte went off the back on the last climb..Aieee... Kennaugh out, Konig MIA, Rowe sort of MIA, Porte being punched below his weight, Great Thomas being mowed into a ditch, and my man, Froomey, just taking the p*ss. Thank goodness for rest days.
Thor Buttox Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 That was almost better the 2e time round.. could just marvel at his skills without pacing. That descending of his makes ME hold my breath. Bloody incredible. Chuck Norris without all the flaws.
Gen Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 That descending of his makes ME hold my breath. Bloody incredible. Chuck Norris without all the flaws. And hubby provided fighter jets sound effects. . So it was way cool 2e time round
isn Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 We have exactly 5 stages left. The last stage being more a sprinters course. Which of the remaining stages will be the more demanding/risky/draining. 18, 19 or 20?
isn Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 That descending of his makes ME hold my breath. Bloody incredible. Chuck Norris without all the flaws.Nah with chuck them there is retake after retake to get the shot right. Sagan have one shot at it to perfect it otherwise we all know what will happen.
