The 189.5km route from Arras to Amiens Metropole passes through key battlefields from the conflict, and the team will honour the 295,000 Australians who fought and 46,000 who sacrificed their lives on the Western Front between 1914 and 1918 with a commemorative armband that features the Australian Centenary logo. http://cdn.media.cyclingnews.com/2015/07/07/2/20716_07_07_2015_8741_2_670.jpg
tombeej Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I didn't even know he had issues.. He had major issues before the TDF even began. He was in my team until that bad crash in the end sprint at the French nationals just before the Tour began. As soon as I heard the news I pulled him from my picks. The injuries were bad enough that he shouldn't even have started the race. The first fall in the Tour would have put him out for good. I'm actually very surprised he lasted this long.
