Johny Bravo Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Did the road last year, on my mtb, only because the mtb course was just mud and water after heavy rains. Was not too bad, however, with nothing really to see or do in the area, except drink wine, I wont be attending this year. Was very poorly attended last year, to be fair, it was the first year and the weather was rubbish.

-cK- Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Last year the rain made for muddy conditions and saw the start of the MTB route detoured on the tarmac. Distance was said to be 48-50km ended up 56km or so. Route markings was a bit lacking as well. That said I will be attending it again this year as we have a little family get together planned for the weekend.

masterj Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 I'm toiling with the idea of doing the 31km mtb and then hopping onto my road bike and doing the 35km road race. The mtb would take me about an 1:30. That leaves me with a 1:10 late start.
