My rear shock is making some funny noises and sounds like there is no air pressure but is 5Bar +

Is there a reputable spot I can take it to in Cape Town for a checkup and /or service?

Isn't the rule of thumb for fox shocks: rear make double your weight in PSI and front Your weight? I run fox on my hardtail and dual sus, Weigh 68 and pump the front to 80psi and rear to 160psi. I like it a bit harder with the CTD.

1 bar is 14.7 psi so that 5 bar + is about 75 psi +. Maybe it is just too low?

There is no "rule of thumb" for shock pressure aside from sag. Far too many factors to consider, like leverage ratios and rates, air can size, geometry, travel, and compression tune.

Sag setup is the only useful way to determine the correct pressure for forks or shocks.

Thanks for the recommendations guys
