Best I could do is point you to the files hacked to work with BB10 below. Can't do much more and don't accept any responsibility for broken phone etc etc. :) Good luck.

My recommendation, get a proper phone (said tongue in cheek, I hate Blackberry after spending 2 and a half years with one)

My phone I use is a Samsung S4. But need something smaller to take on rides and run with. Do not want to go the the admin of downloading and uploading the files from polar to strava.

so wanted to use my old k*kberry for that.

Different question then: What is the smallest smartphone that you can install the strava app on?

It works on those bottom of the range Samsungs that sell for around R800 to 900.

Basically any android with gps.

Or whack Endomondo on the BB and upload the file to Strava, it's a bit of a pest but does work.

I use endomondo on my S4 and then use tapiriik.com to sync all my rides between endomondo and strava and keep a backup on dropbox, after the first time of setting it up its basically a one click to sync everything, you can also purchase and you can set an autosync then you never have to do anything.

You could use any cheap android smartphone that has GPS, most do, but what I've noticed with the cheaper/smaller devices is that the GPS processor in the device is not the same quality as some of the more expensive devices, so sometimes it doesn't record the rides correctly or accurately and sometimes records nothing.

I tried to set it up on an extra blackberry that we have laying around here. Because i fear my battery wont last on very long on my primary phone i hoped that using a phone with only strava on it would help. I could not find it on the app store. Very dissapointed. Android or iphone is the way to go.

Strava are actually *** with device support. I was using my old Galaxy S for recording runs but the GPS on that is so useless that I had to use something else, so my daughter old Nokia Lumia was up for the taking (which has great GPS). Anyway Strave dont support Windows Phone either so you wither have to use Iphone or Android or nothing. That said, on Windows phone I bought an app called Striver which does the job just fine

Which is why I ride with a R199 nokia. It only calls and SMS's but battery lasts a month on standby. :)

I have never owned a blackberry, but one of my friends use one, and you can use fitness tracker app to track your rides, and you can link your fitness tracker account to your Strava account, so your rides will appear automatically on Strava after you have uploaded to fitness tracker.
