Swift01 Posted December 17, 2014 Share What are the best value for money wrenches out there. It seems one would need to get 2 different ones. One to cater for the 2Nm to 40Nm then 40Nm and up passed 100Nm. Most bolts require quite a lower number, which=le some of the suspension bolts require a 100Nm.Lastly are the Digital Torque Wrench Adaptors worth looking at? Soufflé Posted December 17, 2014 Share Max torque on most bikes = 40nm (cassette, centerlock rotor, BB cups)Recommend reversible rachet for BB cup and pedal

Saag Posted December 17, 2014 Share This option is best. Also bought that yesterday. It is by far the least expensive one that I could find, and I have been searching on and off for months now.

Preferably local?Have read through a couple of threads and the BBB torque wrench seems to have got the majority vote. What would you recommend that's not going to blow the budget? Pieter1 Posted January 9, 2020 Share Thanks, looks good. Is this what you're using? Digital is better/worth it?Yes I’m using this one. I needed a wrench but did not want to buy two. This thing can tighten every thing on the bike. I like that it is digital and can set it exactly to the value needed. The quality is solid and comes in a nice case with a lot of useful attachments. I’m not sorry I got it at all. gogo@
