SURFER Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I haven't cycle for a while. When starting again I noticed the the rockshox recon is not compressing while going over bumps. I took it in for service, problem sorted. Now after about 7 months, the same is starting to happen (shox is not in lock position). Any advice?

SURFER Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 Not sure it is the service interval. I have Rock shox reba on my bike and ride a lot, no problem. Both the recon and reba get serviced at same interval. It seems that not using the recon shox contributes to the problem. It was standing idle for long time before my daughter started using it (not regular).
