What's happening with Morewood

Ok.

Morewood have a bigger European client base than sa clients.

In discussion with mw bikes it was noted that about this year we should see then do something interesting with suspension design and offerings to the local market. Talk of moving production to the east and being able to offer the mw brand as a value product to the market vs a boutique product with the associated price attached.

These are things that were brought up, and should they do this then I wish then well. ....They just need to work on communication and pr with better service on the spares dept too.

Mw bikes is just a brand, it is up to those who steer the shop to now navigate the best course.

PYGA took a huge rush going solo and the risk had paid off. Fortunately they have a great captain at the helm.

I have a couple of morewoods.

One is still going strong. Another is cracked and still waiting for a reply regarding a suitable replacement. Gave up on that so went the insurance route.... When they pay out ill probs buy a reign.

Don't think the ndiza will ever break.

I think that Pyga is outselling Momsen but that is just my opinion from what I see out on the trail.

are you only referring to Vipa's? Momsen push a LOT of bikes.......

Will ask former employee tomorrow.

He may be upset with the retrenchment and is spreading rumors? No idea...

I speak to Fabien quite often and all seems good from what I hear...

Ask him what's up next time.

When I bought my Sukuma, Richard sounded quite positive about the future.

Remember that even while Pat was around, MW would work to their own timeframes and in isolation of public opinion, no reason why that should ever be seen as them going belly up.

Had a chat with said "former employee" today and according to him Fabien is the only one left and he is not solely working for Morewood. As for the machinery most if not all of it is gone, saw a half painted frame yesterday. :(
