Hey dudes.

Looking at changing the bearings on my look s track pedals but can't seem to pull off the sleeve that's in front of the bearings, anyone know how to take them off?

Thanks.

They can't be removed.

All you can do is clean and re-grease.

If they are beyond repair get a new set as a service kit costs the same as the pedals.

Pm me your address. I will send you a brand new pair still in the box.

Agreed, service the S Tracks and they will look after you. If the internals are worn and need to be replaced, don't bother, get them off CWC

Hehe of course it can, I have done it but with a bit of effort.

Woops. Turns out i have look quartz pedals.

Haha, hold on to them for me for when my quartz give up.

For the OP, do an Internet search. There is a video I found where the tool used to remove a fork bearing race is used to remove the sleeve.

A word of caution, I have heard that that sleeve is tapered and once off does not press on tight again. So you might have to machine new ones or lock tight them on.

This is a project I have in the pipe line as my road pedals are the Ti ones and are nearly 4k to replace.
