I always remove the bikes from the rack as soon as we get home.  And we don't stop somewhere with the bikes left on the racks.  The temptation is just too much.  If we have to stop somewhere, I stay with the car and the wife goes in to the shop or whatever.

Hope you have some luck finding them.  I know the Police may be able to help with checking out the local offset spots in the area.  But you must be quick.

Always a Thule rack it seems. Thule racks are crap guys, please please please realize this. Dont leave your bikes unattended on them.

Which ones aren't crap?

Most reports may involve Thule just because they are so ubiquitous.

I personally wouldn't leave any half decent bike unattended on any bike rack in Sa.

Fixed that...

You cannot under any circumstances leave a bike unattended at all these days, even locked in the back of a car is dodgy.

People seem to think because Thule are expensive, they are great. Please remember we are dealing with some inexperiened riders on the hub. Bike racks are mostly ***. When I still used a bikerack, I used a cable lock used to secure boat trailers, tied aound my frame and chassis. About as thick as a exhaust pipe.

Same here.  When I get home, the bikes gets locked inside the garage.  Two cables through the frame and the wheels.  If not, if someone has similar frequency for the garage door or g/door gets left open by mistake, good bye bikes.

On the bike, I ride with a weapon.  I'll take my chances with the failing justice system rather than crooks that will kill you for your bike and phone.

Justice system is broken. Save yourself for sure. If you have enough money you can get away with anything. Trust me.

Mine are in the bedroom and I'm one step away from tying a string from the bikes onto my leg...

Plus the dog sleeps outside the bedroom door.

Granted the wife isn't entirely pleased but, you know, priorities...
