Probably not a very safe concoction. It's not that lonely. I can just about see under the bridge from where I'm typing this: the point of sale pc at work. About 2 hours ago I saw a bunch of teenage girls disappear under that bridge too...

I mentioned it in an older thread that they even repair the trail sometimes - I can't recall who, but there is a Hubber who helps them out with a donation from time to time in exchange for them working on the trail under the bridge.These guys live there and I think they very well know that if they harm a cyclist, dogwalker or yogger, it will be the end of them living there.Don't get me wrong: I am not advocating vagrantism! Makes me think and apologies OP for the hijack; when last was someone mugged / harmed while riding the Spruit?
Patchelicious Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 I stay right there, haven't seen him as yet. Is this the white male, looks to be in his early to mid thirtys, scruffy, bit of a beard? Far as I know he's a local and theres some kind of mental history, prone to much verbal outbursts that don't make mush sense. Harmless, as far as I've experienced, never engaged him though.Must be a hub member.

SteveS Posted February 11, 2015 Author Posted February 11, 2015 I saw him the other morning on my ride- he jumped out of my way HaHa. Looks you chased him away by flying past him. He wasn't there yesterday afternoon. Even his two bricks / seat was no longer in the middle of the trail.
