silkman Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Just got a heart rate monitor but my S3 not picking it up.I now see that the HRM is Bluetooth 4.0.I though the S3 was 4.0 ready.Is there a way to get the phone to recognise BT4.0?
Flatdog7 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Is your HRM ANT+ enabled or just bluetooth. In my experience the HRM straps support ANT+ so you need to install the "drivers" on your phone. The latest version of Endomondo does it by prompting you to install 3 "drivers". Perhaps give that a try.

That's what the Note 3 brought to the table, which was then put into the 4 & 5. Re the low power bloutand - not sure.
Rocket-Boy Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 The HRM will be bluetooth LE. Afaik the s3 mini doesnt do BTLE.I have used one of those straps on a lumia 1520 and an iphone 6 and it was fine on both.Can check on my old S3 but its not the mini.
