Just get it through your LBS.

They are cheap enough and if you don't know what you are looking for at this stage of the fight, you will have a battle fitting the thing.

Top Clamp top pull with a multi clamp size.

Don't be a scrooge .

If the shifter is 14 years old you will need a new one of those too. Also, this is cheaper than replacing 3 chainrings, lighter and significantly quieter.

 

More expensive than a new derailluer... :whistling:
