There's an old retro road bike that is hanging in a garage with some family up in Jozi I would like to get down to CT and try breathe some fresh life into. Anyone got some space in their van or on the carrier when they're coming down to the CTCT perhaps? Bike is in Farramere in Benoni and I would obviously meet wherever you end up in CT??

Might not be what you are looking for, but I can take it with me on the flight in two weeks time. The only problem is that the airlines charge per bike on the flight...

Shot for the offer!!!! It's an old clunker, so would probably be better off sitting on the back of someone's bakkie coming down this way! (The airline might ask you\me to pay overweight fees :w00t: ). It is my mother's old bike and I'm hoping to get down here so that my daughter can use it for moonlight mass, as she fancies the whole retro scene.

If I lived there I would fly down too! No worries!

Hopefully someone is still doing it the long way![/quo

I can't send my bike down with Elliot's as I fractured my radius- if interested let me know- bikes go down soon- think monday or Tuesday

Hoping to let the bike catch a ride with someone already doing the trip, get to meet someone in real life I would not necessarily meet any other way and buy them a case of their favourite beer. That way we all win and community vibe grows and continues.

(If I don't get that right, I'll ship it using Time Freight. Have a connection that works for them.)
