No more visible cables. Cry I liked it.

But guess what. It will not be compattible with 7800 or earlier derailleurs. So they are making more money.

What I like more is the new Flight Deck

- Still integrated in the shifters

- Additionnal functions:

   * hearth rate monitor

   * altimeter

   * slope indicator

   * wireless 2.4GHz frequency

   * wireless datas downloading to the PC

Sorry, but I think its very ugly!! I'm sure it will work fantastically, but they could have made the levers look nicer...

But, I do think the calipers look nice...

Just my opinion...

Wonder what it will cost?

I read that Mampara, hopefully they will look better. I just dont like that plastic thingy thats under the hood.

But I remember when the new style Campagnolo levers came out in the late 90's...I thought they were the fugliest things ever!!

Now they look cool...

That prototype carbon crank did look nice though...

Pros: Thumbs%20Up

Brake calipers/blocks look and sound like a decent improvement

The carbon derailleur will be sweet if it looks anything like XTR

Flight Space-deck

Chain - it's about fr1gging time ffs

Cables - neater is sweeter, scratch that off your arguments list Scampy fans

Cons: Thumbs%20Down

The carbon cranks are rumoured to not go into production Cry

Carbon levers... looks a bit like following the rest of the pack to me  Ermm

Weight - will the groupset challenge RED/Record? Ouch

7800 compatibility Dead
