Maverick Duc 32, big fan of these forks

Me too. I have one on my old Maverick ML7.2 trail bike. When it needs a rebuild you just fit about 10 new O-rings of various sizes and pour some fresh oil in.

That said I am in the market for a full set of factory tools for the front and rear Mav suspension - or someone who can do a rear shock rebuild for the ML7.2 as it is a bit more complex than the fork rebuild .

Hi Guy's.

Thanks for the input. I'll go ahead as planed then. I'm reassured there's no issue with the Pike from a build point of view

Pegasaurus?  Just worries me that you wouldn't do a stage race on your Pyga, does it really make that much of a weight difference with the Pike climbing? I'm at the back of the field anyway on my GT....don't want a second bike for marathons.....brings up a possibility..If  its an issue climbing is it worth changing forks for the odd marathon?????

All the best.

You really needn't fuss about this bike and marathons or stage races....its more than perfectly capable. How you set up your fork is up to you.

Mine comes in at 12.7kg and if you think thats a weight penalty the bike more than makes up for it in other areas.....but then we shouldn't be talking about Pyga and weight in the same sentence :)

Oh, if you're interested, a little birdie has told me that the above machine may be for sale in the next two months or so...

Hi Martin. Thanks for the advice. What size is your Pyga as a matter of interest.

All the best.
