Headshot Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Just to confuse you - I have been running organic Shimano pads in my SLX brakes since May 2013. The pads wear as any do, but not as quickly as you might think - i think I have done the fronts twice and the rear once doing about 50km a week incl DH/Am riding. They are about half the price of the metal versions and never ever squeal.
