PPA VETS AND SUB-VETS 3-DAY STAGE RACE
The popular PPA three-day stage race for veteran and sub-veteran riders will take place from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 October 2006, in the Paarl-Wellington-Stellenbosch-Joostenberg area. Routes and stages are being confirmed as we speak:

 

 

 

Why go to all the effort of putting on a tour and not having it open to all categories??!..surely with all the costs of putting in a 3day event, the incremental cost of having another group of riders is tiny, plus you get all the extra entries and you can spread the costs (traffic,marshals etc) of the event over a larger group of ppl..

this is basically a 3 week lead in period. too short to start training for a 3 day event. who woke up at the last minute.

It was waited for, everybody that i know kenw it was going to happen and all indications were October/November.

 

This will be good trainig for the DC!!

3 day tour would be fun..... we have this w end to train for it.....

I agree though...they should allow for a seperate Elite category...as long as they race alone and not with us!

And it would be nicec to know that once I get dropped, I can always go and hide at the back of the vets bunch
