My advice, if you absolutely must upgrade is to go with a set of Flows on Hope hubs. Those Will last aaaages. One level down from that would be the flows on a set of novatec hubs, which are still great, just not as light. Why do I say Flow vs Crest? The extra width at the same price. 5mm is a huge difference that will benefit the ride hugely. But your first port of call should be to take that wheelset in to the shop to have it checked out, cos that's definitely not right.
