JK7 Posted June 28, 2021 Share Can only comment on the Snap2 Served me well for 1300km so far. I am hobbyist at best. I am not concerned with needing to calibrate every ride or have power accuracy a small % out. With a trainer or road tyre it is not noisy either. Would recommend it

Same here, but with harder lockdowns and harsher weather looming, I thought something like Zwift etc could add some more value to the IDT experience, so looking for a good budget friendly option. Spotted an original Snap and was wondering if it was worth looking at.? Edited June 28, 2021 by Thomo
sirmoun10goat Posted June 28, 2021 Share It’s built like a tank, so it will last. And since it is wheel on, there are no issues with axel compatibility. You can’t use the kickr climb though, so if that’s something you envision in the future, get a snap2. Otherwise the snap1 is great
Thomo Posted June 28, 2021 Share Looking for budget access to online riding, kickr climb probably doesn't feature on my list of needs. LOL I guess most important re Snap 1 is software/compatibility issues and any other 1st gen gremlins.
