hi guys

my son has exo clarks on his entry-level mtb - while they have been great, the rear ones suddenly have no pressure (and consequently don't work). thinking this may be bleeding, took his bike to my LBS. bleeding was confirmed to not be the issue, the cylinder in his lever (or seal) is buggered. The recommended solution is replace the set...

I know these are entry level, but this seems a little extreme (and out of my price range), is it worth trying to locate a seal (and where), or is total replacement the only way here....

Seals are available for most brands, but Clarks are not too common in SA. I'm not sure if there is an agent.

Why not Google them and send them an email.

thanks guys - I'm looking at these. I'm reaching out to axis as well as the bike is less than a year old, I wouldn't have expected to be doing this yet.

Master cyclinder will have a generic seal. Take the piston and cylinder to bearing man and they can match up a seal to the groove. take a sample of the failed seal just so that they can see what the origina looked like
