Sani Pass mountain bike race creates a stir

Sani Pass, one of South Africa’s most famous mountain roads, is creating a stir in the mountain biking community following the launch of the Mitsubishi Sani Dragon, a two-day stage race that incorporates the iconic climb. The inaugural edition of the event takes place on 25 and 26 September 2015.

I am kinda keen on this one, just wish they would publish profiles. I just want to make sure that there isn't 2000m of climbing on day 1.

If the race profile put us as going up the ICONIC Sani Pass then we are in for one "hell" of a climb.

According to Strava efforts by previous people the segment has a 20.5km ride with 1305m of climbing. Looking at where the starting grounds are there is still another 5-8km from the grounds to the start of the segment.  :o

Day one is +-65km and day 2 is 70km
