Hey Hubbers.

Been a hubber for a while now. Up, down but for the most part interesting.specifcalYy when reading (flightly) some posts on ads or in general. I am hoping this is the correct forum/section to solicit feedback.

What would you expect from any LBS iro components, apparell and acessories.

Brands vs pricing?

How long would you want to wait for an item big or small if said item not in stock?

These are any items....so feel free to post, PM or email any thought on the above.

And yes...for a fledgeling lbs.

Comments on servicing/components welcome as well.

I will try and be as interactive on posts as I can be.

Thanks

I would love a shop that had a nice range of riding clothing. All shops seem to have one or 3 options. And what u can find online compared to what is in stores is a huge difference

Just the awesome craft kit I have seen online but can't find anywhere in a store is massively annoying. Even cycle lab mega store has absolute crap in terms of clothing and 500 pairs of old cannondale shorts that no one wants.

Decent 26 inch tyres up to 2.35

Surely there is a market for the hordes of people who are now buying off CRC and overseas?

On top of that DI2 mini upgrade kits (wiring, battery, shifters, F & R mech) I don't want a full gruppo as I've spec'd exactly what crank I like and the brakes (and they are not ultegra).

Also a 3d printer where you can get custom handlebar mounts an other hard to find bit made up for a price.

The smaller stuff for tinkering or tinkering gone wrong.

Be it bolts, a range of stems or just normal groupset components. If you don't stock it on the spot I'd rather order from the interwebs, cause either way I will have to wait...and the interwebs option ends up being the cheaper one.

Its not so much having weird components / parts, but rather not being in the situation of "sorry we don't have stock, but come back next week"

Not an easy choice, you have to stock the most popular items otherwise you could end up with stock which you have paid for sitting on the shelves.

Well doesn't really count as stock, but I expect a website, that is up to date with prices.... and a person that responds to email ( not a week later).

seems there is no such place....
