City Cycling Athletic Club Posted July 17, 2015 Share 2. BMI is far from perfect, because a muscular guy could be in great shape but have a massive BMI. For instance most rugby players would classify as "Obese" according to BMI. But it still is a well-accepted indicator for most people. for pro sportsmen they are obese.
