WOW   Thank you everybody, we are overwhelmed by the generosity that is being shown. We will leave the auction open until 17:00 tomorrow (Tuesday 21 July 2015) as indicated in the original post and then invoice the top bidder. If the combo is going to be sent to FRAIL, we are also very happy to arrange delivery directly to him using our fabulous door to door courier service

It looks as though Wayne Potgieter was the most generous bidder and what an incredibly generous bidder he was! We will PM an invoice and confirm where we are to ship the light to.

Thank you

Paid. Address sent.

FRAIL - please dont sell this light.

If you need to, i have a proposition for you.....

If you use it on one of your epic rides and take a nice photo of you, your bike and the light combo...i will buy it back from you for R3,000.

But only if you make it famous first....

Oh...and i want it autographed.....  The famous FRAIL!!!!

Hello Wayne

That light was past it's sell by date.

Needed to get upgraded.

As per Riding, I have been taking it easy.

Put on some fat, lack of training.

Once I have things organised, moving done and better work arrangements sorted.

These last few months has not given me the motivation to get any projects going.

Thank You again

I better go get that bike washed and cleaned, so I can test those lights.

Ok, fetching the Light.

The Light was posted to an address, 140km down the road.

It's 16h00 and I have just finished work for the day.

Feeling bored?

I take on the road at 16h30.

I blasted the first hour, doing 35 km.

Second hour was slower but I still managed 25km.

I have to confess, I could not see the milage at 3 hours.

Just on 3h30 I passed my 105km mark.

Caring on, just another 35km to go!

Then you guessed it, 140km done in only 4h30!!

My third attempt, strava back fired!

On my return, only done 35km, but was I CRYING?

Whole body said to me, please stop you are killing

US!

Only another 105km to go, once I down this Coffee.

Eish, where is my Rum I asked for?

Well done Wayne Potgieter. You're a solid citizen. The quality of your character is strong.

David look forward to seeing you on the roads. Keep your chin up. You're a good man.

Good morning

After leaving Langebaan.

I was doing 15/19km average.

Tiredness kept me going but not my pace.

7h27 for the same 140km I did yesterday, in 4h30, Dinner ride.

I went looking for the Moon but He later got scared at around 03h00 and Dissappeared.

Arrived just in time for Breakfast!

280km done in 12hours!
