I'm thinking to get the Zoom suspension seatpost for our tandem so that my wife has a more comfortable ride.

 

What's your opinion on the Zoom? does it work well enough?

Does it not make saddle height and power output an issue?

 

If you pull hard you will compress the suspension and it will just become annoying?

 

Never used such a thing but is seems fraught with potential issues

Yes, I considered the same issues but at this stage comfort is more important.

For me, most definitely.  So much so that I purchased a spare.
