I will be happy to "work for a ride"?

There shouldn't be a need for work after Fri - maybe if we want to add an obstacle or reshape berm etc.

You're more than welcome to ride - the more the merrier.

@grebel - sweet - bring a bakkie load on your next trip up!

D, I never thought I'd see the day you'd be building anything remotely like that. Nicely done. Let me know when the opening is and I'll bring my bikes around.

Just to note: the less rear travel the better on pomp traks and smaller wheels FTW. Just so you can start planning your next build ;)

The Rhythm section being installed - it's all done now (pic was this morning).  The obstacles look a bit close to carry good speed though - there is a cool log drop off into fun launch/berm combo straight after that needs good speed.

A coupla test runs/crashes may mean removing an obstacle or two and spacing things out a bit...

Maybe I'm trying to fit too much in!

The Dead Tree  bowl is coming on nicely - you ride over the dead tree into the bowl and pop back over the same tree. Should be fun!

Life is too short not to play mega sandpit :-)

Track should be done by this weekend but will need a rain storm or two to bed in nicely...

I know the drill quite well myself: compact - water - sand - compact - water - sand...

I'm building new lines/features at Hakahana for he next few weekends anyway but look forward to pumping around your garden. I hope you okes with the new long travel bikes are going to ride the Hakahana Enduro. :D

i see a lot of space to come pitch my tent

Whaaaaaaat? I think pitching a tent means something else where you're form :-)

The course is almost done - laying some soil on the last 30m of track...

All berms, jumps, rhythm section, drop off and lip jump are installed on the "down run" - still need to add some fun stuff on the flat and "up run". Maybe a rock garden and a small double then we're done.

I've done my bit and god seems to be doing his bit as rain is forecast for Tue/Wed next week!

Can't wait to smash this thing - gonna take some serious restraint not to ride the crusts off the newly bedded berms.

So this is what 5 year olds feel like at xmas time...
