Long Wheel Base Posted September 8, 2015 Share If the units have been imported and have not entered the country via Garmin SA, it is likely the warranty will be void regardless of registering the products. But some people are happy with a better price and no warranty , some would rather pay more and be covered. You will find buyers regardless.My first edge was a 205(I think?) which I bought in the states shortly before they where launched here. Then when it died 3 years ago I went to the Garmin offices in honeydew area and they offered me the option of repair or upgrade for next to nothing. I did tell them I bought it from the states and they didn't mind. So unless I was lucky or they have changed their policy it should be valid regardless of where you bought it.
